Industry Manager Dairy
The County Administrative Board's approximately 300 employees work as the government's representative at the regional level. Our mission is to develop the county and ensure that national political goals are realized in the region. Eldrimner is one of the County Administrative Board's seven units and has been Sweden's national resource center for food craftsmanship and small-scale food production since 2005. Here we work to convey, develop, and preserve knowledge about food craftsmanship. We support new and established entrepreneurs through courses, training, advice, and development work. Eldrimner collaborates with relevant authorities and other actors to facilitate food craftsmen in conducting their operations. Our team consists of experts in various areas of food craftsmanship who are eager to share their knowledge.

Description
Do you want to help develop the future of Swedish food craftsmanship? Do you have a particular commitment to the processing of dairy and other animal products? Eldrimner is now looking for a temporary industry manager who wants to drive development in the dairy sector.
As the industry manager, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and strengthening the dairy sector as well as other animal products, such as charcuterie. The role involves both strategic and operational work, and you will collaborate with producers, educators, industry organizations, and other stakeholders in food craftsmanship.
You will plan and conduct training, mentoring, and industry activities, as well as contribute to knowledge dissemination and national development projects. Teaching your own classes is also a possibility.
The work primarily takes place at Eldrimner's facilities in Ås outside Östersund, but business trips and work in other locations may occur.
Responsibilities
- Drive and develop the dairy sector
- Plan and conduct courses, webinars, seminars, and industry meetings
- Initiate and lead development projects
- Monitor the environment, follow trends, and communicate within food craftsmanship
- Collaborate with producers and other industry actors
- Contribute to Eldrimner's product competition SM in Food Craftsmanship and other events
- Assist in simplifying processes for businesses, such as handling referrals and liaising with authorities
- Maintain and care for Eldrimner's production equipment and processing facilities
- Have a holistic view of the industry and identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Qualifications
- Higher education of at least 200 credits in a relevant field for the position, such as: food microbiology, dairy product science, microbiology, chemistry, higher education pedagogy, sheep, and goat.
- Experience in project management
- Experience in teaching and mentoring in areas such as food chemistry and food microbiology
- Worked as a dairy worker
- Own entrepreneurship experience in or from food craftsmanship
- Driver's license (B)
Desirable
- Experience with product assessment, food-related projects, practical experience in food production
- Previous collaboration with Eldrimner
- Network within green industries
